#1 : My last post was the 300th post. Please direct your attention to the 200th post, making sure to remember and read the 201st post, right before checking out the 100th post. I wasted the last hour looking for the 150th post, but I just can't find it. Anyone remember?

#2 : Suddenly, inexplicably, and for no reason at all, it feels like November. There was this moment, last night, when I stood on the balcony and everything just seemed bigger, as though the cold weather spread everything out. Like it ironed over a very wrinkled October. Or maybe it's because Halloween is the last real fun that college kids have until the Holidays. Up until this point, the fun has been for the sake of fun. From this day forward, until finals, fun will be used to heal the wounds of all-nighters and workaholism. And Go!

I had to argue with a contractor over a parking space. We both had our signals on (for a fucking parking space. Ha!) and I pulled into the space and parked. Instead of looking for another, he waited behind me until I got out of my car and yelled "Hey man, that's not cool. Johnny Five, that's not cool" (presumably, he had read my rear plate).

I shrugged and he yelled again, "We were here first, man" to which I replied "No, I was."

Tired of the whole issue, I kept walking, shrugged one last time, and said "It's a crowded parking lot, dude."

Then he got behind me in line at the Chick-Fil-A.
